The River District Mural Gallery is an outdoor collection of around 10 murals in Vancouver, created in 2020 in partnership with the Vancouver Mural Festival. Additional works have been added over the years. It is located along East Kent Avenue South, just south of the River District town centre, and the murals are permanent, visible to people walking or biking along the waterfront trail. My contribution, called “Furry Glitch,” is an homage to our pets—a playful, stylized celebration of animals.

“Stay Home With Us” was painted for the Vancouver Mural Festival during the pandemic lockdown. I was invited to create a mural on Robson Street in Vancouver, along with other artists, on the boarded-up storefronts throughout downtown. The experience was surreal and humbling. I wanted to deliver a serious message through a fun visual approach—something that encouraged people to stay safe while still putting a smile on their faces.
