Urban Arts, or “Urbankonst,” in Malmö at Graffiti Hangaren is a project that makes graffiti and street art a permanent part of the city’s culture. It takes place inside and outside a large, old airplane hangar called the Hangaren, run by the non-profit CFUK (Centrum För Urbankonst).

I was invited to paint a large wall on the outside of the hangar, and I used a scaffold to reach the top. The painting is a portrait of the festival manager’s dog, which posed in front of the artwork.
