The Squamish Mural Walk offers a vibrant way to explore the town through public art. The murals cover a wide range of themes and styles, created by local artists, with new works often added during the annual festival. The event brings together artists, residents, and visitors, creating a lively community experience that highlights Squamish’s creative spirit.
I was invited to paint one of the panels alongside the other artists. My piece ‘Loyal Glitch’ is a portrait of a calm dog set against an energetic background with glitchy elements. We painted in a park over a weekend, and later the panel was moved to the newly developed oceanfront to be part of a mural gallery.
